Cafe Chantilly

Leuke zaak, lekker knus en persoonlijk. Heel Lekker eten ook!

Het eten was erg lekker, maar de bediening iets minder. Wij werden constant gevraagd of we nog wat willen drinken of zij onze borden kan ophalen terwijl we Nog aan het eten waren. Verder leuk tentje en zag er gezellig uit.

Erg lekker eten/drinken en hele vriendelijke medewerkers, goede service :)

Today I visited Chantilly. After 55 minutes our food did not arrive, so I asked the waitress if everything was okay with our order. She could only say that they were very busy. That's also what they let everybody know and show. They were running around like crazy with no kind words or an appology for the fact that everything took so long and faces that touched the ground. They had no idea how to run this very busy place where they also accepted take away orders. Instead of that, they were under the assumption that we all as customers had to shut up, because we all could see that they were busy.... The world of customerfriendly upside down. And it got worse..... After 70 minutes our food arrived; the panncakes were halfcold and dry, the saucee on the eggs benedict was a bit off, my sandwich was ok, exept that it was a bit hard to cut thrugh. When I asked for the bill, I told the waitress that I would have had a better time spending in Chantilly if she for once would have come to our table and for example appologize for the fact that it took so long, or offer us a drink, or even water... She, but also the kitchencrew exploded and they got very rude towards us. They claimed that we had try to talk to them at least 5 times, so that they could not have done there work... I didn't got up at all... It was as if the workload or pressure got to them in a scary psychotic way. I felt intimidated. Awful experience and the bad thing is, that the food looks good and funny, but the quality and taste is not even worth waiting 15 minutes, let alone 70 minutes with a big drama.

A nice restaurant to try out international cuisine. The food was tasty and the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice.

Er valt een leuke sfeer als je binnen komt. Personeel is super aardig & het eten was lekker! Niet te duur & zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk gegeten in een familiaire sfeer. Met een groepje is het iets langer wachten, maar dat is het zeker waard!

Authentic Amsterdam charm with a lot of decoration, mainly candy jars and large old mixers. The menu consists of some classics and super-Instagrammable foods like the Red Velvet Pancakes and milkshake with donut on top.

Het eten is lekker, maar de bediening is niet alert. Alles heeft heel lang geduurd

We had to wait a long time for our food while there was 5 customers in total. And the pancakes were not cooked in the inside.

Tres bonne adresse ! A conseiller pour leurs pancakes et.... tout le reste ;)

Het heeft een zeer cozy en verwelkomend sfeer. Daarnaast is het eten en de service topnotch. Zeker een aanrader.
