Amazing and Great Experience. Perfect Start for a day in Amsterdam.
Good vibe, and a fun experience. Food is nice. Could be done so much better though. It feel a little rushed, and the service was a real let down. The staff were not attentive or friendly at all. They didn't offer us a menu or drinks, and seemed annoyed when we eventually got their attention to ask ourselves. They just didn't seem bothered about making sure we were having a nice time. Also, because they were so slow we'd not finished by the time the journey had come to an end, but staff still rushed us off the boat for the next customers. Probably better for groups where you're less likely to get ignored by staff, or more likely to be drinking more and therefore not notice bad service!
It was a lovely time and tasty food! The music was very loud a first and they graciously turned it down so we could enjoy the company - thanks G's!
Amazing brunch food, delicious boozy drinks, a Drake-filled soundtrack and on top of that amazing views of the Amsterdam canals! Recommended for locals and tourists alike.
Nice boat, and nice boat ride, but the service was lacking. From my observation, there's 2 servers that cover the boat. one for the tables on teh left, the other for the tables on the right. We sat on the left side and service was good, up until after we got our plate of food served. Not once in the hour later were we asked if we wanted another drink - waiter ignored us completely for 15 minutes straight when raising hand for attention or asking "excuse me" - at the end I was also billed for a drink that was supposed to be in the set package. The brunch is also scheduled for 2 hours, but the boat was back at it's dock 30 minutes before the end of the 2 hour period. So don't expect to be sailing for the full duration of the 2 hours.
The boat was lovely and the food, when it came, was nice! But I did not think getting only half a stroopwaffel as the 'something sweet' was value for money. Great experience, but I wouldn't do it again.
Was erg leuk. Personeel is erg aardig.
G's brunch boat is awesome! the staff, food and the atmosphere. We would recommend it to anyone! it is a gret way to explore the city.
Food was not very good. I thought it was over priced for what you got. BoAt ride was pleasant and staff was friendly. Food not worth it.
Had to wait for a table, then didn't receive what we were promised, staff were lovely but overall just didn't live up to my expectations.
Sharing tables was not the best and no Bloody Caesar drinks were available. Great music and we enjoyed the route that we took. Thanks brunchboat
The atmosphere was fun but the food was pretty terrible. All of our eggs Benedict were brought without hollandaise sauce, which is a crucial ingredient? We asked for more but only a tiny amount was brought for the 4 of us to share. We also each ordered sides of avocado and only 2 were brought for us to share. Additionally, the English muffins were cold & uncooked.
Food and atmosphere was great. Only fault is we were at a low table so we couldn't see out of the boat much but we really enjoyed the whole experience regardless!
Food adequate not great, dessert was poor a cold waffle with chopped fruit. It was a shame as a beautiful boat, but no details of sights
This was fantastic! I have wanted to G's Brunch Boat out since reading a review two years ago and I am so glad we finally got to go. The boat was lovely, the views were amazing and the food delicious. Although a bit pricey, if you broke down the cost of a canal cruise, brunch, three drinks (alcoholic, soft and hot) and a dessert, it isn't terrible value. We went for my boyfriend's birthday treat and it didn't disappoint! I had the eggs pedro, which was delicious, but everything on the menu looked amazing! Extra drinks are quite reasonably priced too! It was slightly chilly, but the winter sun made the views perfect! A great way to see Amsterdam!
Some of the menu options weren't available (lemonade, the sausages, for example); Loud music; There were no tables for two, we had to share. No information whatsoever about landmarks or even the name of the places the boat passed. We had to call the waitress and order the drink, no one offered it to us, although it was on the menu we chose.
Fabulous food, fun atmosphere, great for visititors to show them around by water, with minimal effort on my part. Also, booze for breakfast. G's for the win!
It is an expensive brunch for the food and quantity they served. I won't recommend it to anyone as there are probably better brunches in Amsterdam.
The food was very good and the boat ride was fun, only it could have lasted a little bit longer, we felt always a little in a rush.
food was great however Coffee was meant to be included in the menu when we requested it the answer was simply we don't have coffee anymore. quite disappointed
I'll give an extra point for the boat - which is always nice :) Also the staff was super friendly and the (alcoholic) drinks were good. Because the lunchrooms are always full we decided on trying the boat (because of the option of making a reservation). But we were really disappointed by the brunch. The food was really quite bad, not at all what we'd expect from G's.
Ambiance, concept, and staff were great. Food was mediocre for the price. Cocktails are a bit overpriced as well for how small and simple they are.
Boat was in time. Scenery was fantasyic. Food would have been good, if it was warm. My only complaint is the cold food. Other than that I was happy.
I feel like the staff wasn't as attentive as they usually are at their other locations. The food was lovely and a perfect amount of time spent on the boat.
Delicious brunch and drinks and a funny way to "explore" Amsterdam :-) It would be great if they were an guide at the boat who talks a bit about the city and the places we see. but thats just an idea and no negative rating.
The brunch boat was really cool and a great way to tour the canals. Food was great and the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend Gs Brunch Boat, it was a highlight of our Amsterdam trip.
Booked online, received text and email to inform time had been altered brought forward One hour, better for us. Boat arrived on time, Excellent Boat, Wonderful surroundings set off on canal cruise and served wonderful, flavoursome food from menu, great choice. Only downside because was so pleasant went far too quickly, will be booking again in November as a first class experience.
It said 2 hours boat trip on homepage but effectively we had 1h 15 min. (Leaving 9:45 instead of 9:30, then going back to pick up people who arrived late, end at 11 am when we had just ordered a drink-not knowing trip was already over). Food and drinks very good but small portions. Boat very nice.
I have been to G's brunch boat several times, but this time I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food served, for the price you pay. The bagels that we ordered were a bit dull, and eggs benedict needed more hollandaise.
