Lekker gegeten. Plek in kelder langs oude gracht is bijzonder maar entourage erg basic. Alleen Engelstalige bediening.

Heerlijk eten, aardige bediening en gezellig aan de gracht begeven.

Tafeltje om 18.30 gereserveerd, prima. Na bestellen kwam het voorgerecht binnen redelijke tijd. Maar na ruim een uur pas het 2e voorgerecht. Uiteindelijk na ruim 2 uur gaan klagen dat ze wel wat haast mogen maken met het hoofdgerecht dan toen ineens wel vlot kon worden geserveerd. Bij het vegetarische menu komt dan veel op tafel. Ik miste echter de smaak explosie van een veelheid aan smaken waar de indiase keuken bekend om staat. De v egetarische gefrituurde groenten waren karig en nog rauw. Geserveerd op een royale laag van rauwe uien. Meteen maar gevraagd of het dessert gelijk op tafel kon, want na 2 1/2 uur waren we wel klaar met een 3 gangen menu wat tevens naar onze smaak stevig aan de prijs was. Wij gaan er geen tweede keer eten.

All was good but there was a extra charge for service 4 peoples as we were sharing food among each other. We could be eat less so we ordered as per that but he extra charge we were not told about before.

It was terrible. Where to begin with. I have eaten twice at the same establishment for over three years, im never coming back because of the terrible service and their food. We visited on a saturday and had to wait for our starting drinks beers a quite long time, had to order all our dishes ( including starting, all our head serves, and other snacks) in one go. To order later on , separate orders, is not possible. It was not possible to switch seats because it was busy, even though every table after us could so, we saw a couple do the same in both directions...hours after Then it took more then a half hour to get a “complementary papums” and to wait for our veggie platter, which were actually cold, and the had the same sauces as our papadums. When asked friendly if they had chutneys or others sauces the waitress ignored us twice and laughed. We ordered several times a few beers which didnt show up, after going in ourselves to get the beers we finally could go on. Twice. Our food never arrived on one moment but arrived in a strange order, our dahles and every side dish first and our main dishes later on. Our tables where full of flies the waiter never cleaned them in between ( just using the same paper placemat to whipe out the food on the table on which our dishes where laid out at the end of our terror dinner. Last time i had a tea and a chat with the owner and the experience was on a different level. After this experience, im not coming back nor advicing anyone else to do so in Utrecht.

The waitress was initially a bit rude at us claiming we did not have a reservation. But later she became a bit more civil. The other waitress who served us later was much friendlier and helpful.

Goood inian food. Great location. Good service. Vindalo lamb GOOD. :-)

Gezellige omgeving in een werfkelder en vriendelijk personeel. Het eten was goed en voldoende. We hadden o.a. mixed grill besteld, geserveerd met een "Dahl saus" en we hadden ook Dahl als gerecht besteld, dat was een beetje dubbel op. Prijs/kwaliteit is ok.

very spicy for me but taste good and a bit of expensive, like 35 euros a person
