Hele leuke avond gehad in deze rumoerige maar gezellige restaurant, al jaren favoriet voor Italiaans in Amsterdam. Heel lekker eten, prima service voor onze grote groep.

Das Essen war wie immer super lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Unser Essen kam allerdings für unseren Geschmack zu FRÜH! Ging einfach zu schnell.... Die Lasagne war sehr gut, aber inzwischen ist die Portion kleiner geworden. Kam uns jedenfalls so vor. Würden aber auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen und es weiter empfehlen.

Mauvais accueil. Placés au fond de la salle à une table entre un mur, une fenêtre et la cuisine alors que l’on avait réservé depuis longtemps. Très désagréable. Cher.

Van oudsher prachtig gelegen en een mooi restaurant. Echter volledig 'veetoerist'. Drammerige obers die je een dure (ipv de huiswijn) wijn proberen te verkopen, hoge prijzen en zeer matige pizza's. Thuis maak ik ze beter. Vroeger was Casa di David een goede italiaan, daar is weinig van over helaas.

They don't like their customers. Judging by the general demeanor of the staff and other reviews the management here is quite bad, and the owner doesn't care about their restaurant. Arrived for a 22:00 reservation and were told rudely by multiple staff members that the kitchen was closing - they took reservations online until 22:30. The main course arrived maybe 30 seconds after the starter did. Multiple staff members were acting like the restaurant was closed and empty - one loudly said to another something like "Hey this pizza you put in was for you right? It better be!" , and then shortly after tossed a to-go box and wildly missed whatever he was aiming at, almost hitting a family of 4 dining near us (for which he laughingly apologized).

Frederick was extremely professional and helpful- food was outstanding. All things considered, the meal was well priced.

A good option for traditional Italian food in the center of Amsterdam - I recommend going for the white sauce pastas, as the red ones were a bit disappointing. The truffle pasta is amazing. House wine is good too!
