High quality and tasty food, but very noisy people around.

Nothing wrong and excellent food and good wine list, however I am not sure their price vs quality is aligned. The prices are similar and for some items like lobster, more expense then Okura Sazanka (lobster almost double their price) which makes you wonder why….. especially as Sazanka is higher rated.

Heerlijk eten en ontzettend attente en aardige gastheer. Erg fijn in de omgang en goed in de uitleg van de gerechten. Zeker het geld waard.

The restaurant was interesting, with good food but I was expecting something more. It was not modern style food, it looked more traditional for me.

Sushi and Sashimi was good, but not at all speciall. Took the chefs choice and got mainly salmon and tuna!?! Then the tepanyaki scallops and prawn,,, tasted like he prepared it with Terpentine... and service was extreeeemlz slow and unatentious... most of the staff... some were really nice and charming... but sorry, really cannot recommend...

The waiting times between the courses could have been shorter.

Fijne zaak , onopvallend van de buitenkant, maar dat maken ze binnen helemaal goed. Mooie rustige inrichting, comfortabel, rustige en professionele bediening. Goed gebalanceerde menu's met fijne sake en wijnkaart. Erg goed eten, mooi opgediend. Niet goedkoop, wel erg goed!

Good atmosphere, traditional sushi and std Japanese food of a high std

in de menukaart zie je nagenoeg steeds hetzelfde staan. Er is niet zoveel keuze, ook geen sushi als voorgerecht. Hadden gekozen voor het eerste menu maar dan kippendijen ipv de vis van de dag. En ook voor de wagyu upgrade. Dat was het vele geld niet waard. Hij was wat aan de taaie kant en niet goed op smaak. Zo’n stukje vlees moet alleen met zout en peper al een sensatie zijn. Alles had dezelfde smaak. Misten de smaakexplosies die je verwachte. Het ijs was overduidelijk gesmolten en weer bevroren. En die gelatineblokjes die erbij zaten, smaakten nergens naar. De stukjes fruit waren overigens wel van mooie kwaliteit. Voor die 125€ pp die je neerlegt word je niet zo betoverd zoals de prijs impliceert. Echt jammer!

Really special - top quality in every way - superb

On our arrival, we were immediately shown to our table and brought a small serving of warm edamame. After reviewing the extensive sake list, we chose a bottle of sparkling nigori, which was delicious. We chose the date menu for the 2 of us, and it came out as 4 courses with wonderfully fresh sushi and sashimi, perfectly cooked scallops, and the most tender lamb I've ever had. Though we did not have dessert there, the menu did have many delicious looking options.

Not tasty, poor service. Atmosphere is not nice at all. Did not like.

Unique experience, fantastic service and stunning food. The reception was flawless, the attendants explain everything in detail, from the menu and the different possibilities to a detail description of the choice when served. A must visit if you are around Amsterdam!

Erg lekker eten in de 1 vd beste Japanse restaurants vd stad. Paar keer eerder sushi bar gezeten, altijd goed/top 3 sushi van Amsterdam, deze avond tepanyaki. Ook top!

Heerlijk eten, geen massa product, maar stijlvolle lekkere sushi. Het enige minpuntje is dat de bestelling niet helemaal goed door is gekomen waardoor we aan het einde lang moesten wachten op het laatste gerecht.
